- Available: Uber opened its service across the country in late November 2025, starting with Uber Comfort (about ten vehicles at launch, around twenty planned, Wi-Fi on board, fare quoted upfront).
- Pre-booked only: ride-hailing vehicles cannot be hailed in the street.
- Pas de la Case: the sources we consulted give no detail on coverage of the resort or on fares. Open the Uber app at the time you need a ride to see whether a car is available, especially in high season.
🚕 A clearer legal framework in 2026
On 22 April 2026 the Andorran government approved a regulation covering taxis and ride-hailing (VTC) vehicles, Uber included:
- Taxis: all join a single booking centre, the Taxi Andorra app, launched on 1 April 2026 (booking, live tracking, fare estimate, mobile payment; also by phone or WhatsApp). The fleet can grow from about 90 to 130 vehicles.
- VTC: advance booking is compulsory, drivers return to base between rides, no pick-ups in the street, and a professional exam must be passed within six months. The cap rises to about 100 vehicles.
- Separate trades: the same vehicle cannot work as both taxi and VTC.
