ESF Grandvalira uses the international level system (Piou-Piou to Expert), which places each student in a group suited to their ability. The instructor assesses your level during the first lesson.

The École du Ski Français (ESF) at Grandvalira operates across every sector of the ski area, including Pas de la Case. It has more than 400 state-qualified instructors, specialised in every discipline: alpine skiing, snowboarding, ski touring, off-piste.

How much does a ski lesson cost at Pas de la Case?
An adult group lesson (2h) costs around €40-55. A private lesson (1h) costs €70-95. Weekly packages (5 sessions) start around €175-220 for adults.
Do you need to book in advance?
Booking in advance is strongly recommended during peak season. In low season, you can usually sign up the same morning directly at the ESF office.
Are there lessons for children from age 3?
Yes. ESF Grandvalira offers snow gardens for children from age 3 (Piou-Piou programme), in a fitted-out, safe area supervised by specialised instructors.
Does the lesson include the lift pass?
No. The lift pass must be bought separately. Remember to book your Grandvalira pass online (-10% vs the ticket office).
