How much can you save?
At the same pre-tax price, the gap due to tax alone is about 13–14% (20% VAT in France, 21% in Spain, 4.5% IGI in Andorra). Beyond that, everything depends on each chain's pricing, the products and the promotions: the real gap can be smaller or larger, and we have no reliable price survey to publish. Before you buy, compare with the price shown online at home.
Customs: what can you take home?
Returning to France, the allowance is 75 ml of perfume and 37.5 cl of eau de toilette per adult, on top of the €900 allowance for other purchases (Spain: 75 g and 37.5 cl). Above that, you must declare and pay duties and taxes. Details on our Andorra customs page.
