Fuel in Pas de la Case: price cuts extended until December 2026
The Andorran government and fuel importers have agreed new price reductions for October, November and December 2026. The aim: keep Andorran stations cheaper than those in La Seu d'Urgell, on the Spanish side, after Spain extended its own fuel tax cuts.
The cuts planned from October to December

These reductions are tapering: from one month to the next, pump prices can therefore go back up. They rely on a partial refund of the special hydrocarbon tax, provided for by the law on temporary measures against rising fuel prices, which the government decided to amend at the end of September 2026.
What changes compared with September
In September, diesel already benefited from a total cut of 15 cents per litre (a 10-cent tax refund added to the 5 cents already applied). That 15-cent cut is kept in October for diesel, while petrol moves to −20 cents.
What do you pay today at Pas de la Case?
Reading from the Gasopas station on 25 October 2026: diesel €1.748/L and unleaded 95 €1.597/L, versus €2.374/L and €2.198/L on average in France (official data of 25 October 2026).
- Gap on diesel: about €0.63 per litre
- Savings on a 50 L fill-up: about €31 on diesel, €30 on unleaded 95
Enough to easily cover the round trip from Toulouse or Ariège, while also taking advantage of Pas de la Case's other duty-free prices (tobacco, alcohol, perfume).
Why these cuts?
Since the spring price rises linked to the conflict in the Middle East, Andorra has repeatedly reduced the tax burden on fuel. Spain has just extended its own tax cuts until December: Andorra wants to keep a price advantage over its border stations, La Seu d'Urgell first among them.
